It has a Mercury Class IV fire rating of up to 1850ºF for 2 hours while maintaining an interior temperature of less than 350ºF.

The AMSEC CSC4520 Executive Fire Resistant Gun Safe has a U.L Listed Group II combination with heavy duty steel hinges. A Spy-proof dial keeps your password secure even if curious eyes overlook the users shoulder. The carpeted interior of the safe has 3 adjustable shelves, and 1 fixed counter top. The door is mounted and contains a Stor-it Pack with a variety of pouches for easy access to items. The door is 4-5/8" thick, has a 2" defense barrier of inner and outer steel plates and a fire resistant composite material. A heat expandable Palusol door protects the interior of the safe in the event of a fire. The body is 2-7/8" thick with a high density burglary and fire resistant composite material. The CSC4520 features 7 locking bolts 1-1/2" in diameter. A pre-punched electric access hole is featured as well as a dehumidifier to preserve the user’s guns. Installation is a breeze with the safes mounting hardware and internal counter-sunk anchor hole.
