Intimus warrants all commercial paper shredders to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of (1) one year from the date of installation.

Labor to repair any failure caused by defects is limited to (1) one year from the date of installation.  Parts to repair any failure caused by defects will be provided free of charge for one year from the date of installation.

Personal Shredders are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of (1) one year from the date of installation. The cutting portion of the unit is to be returned to Intimus for repair or replacement at Intimus sole option.

Special Coverage Provided for Cutting Systems

Commercial Strip Cut Shredders: Cutting Cylinders are warranted to be free of defects for (5) five years.

Commercial Crosscut and Particle Cut Shredders: Cutting Cylinders are warranted to be free from defects for (5) five years.

High Security Crosscut Shredders: Cutting systems components are warranted to be free from defects for (1) one year.

Personal Shredders: Cutting Cylinders are warranted to be free of defects for (5) five years.

This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accident, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire.  Particle Cut, Crosscut and High Security Crosscut shredders require lubrications and reversing as directed in the Operator Manual. Failure to lubricate these systems will void the warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician.

Intimus recommends a Guaranteed Maintenance Agreement to supplement this warranty.
