It is designed for flexibility, allowing you to choose the inserter you want to put on top, or to place an inserter next to it, allowing for assembly line production.

Technical Summary:

The Akiles CoilMac ECP is a heavy duty machine with a high volume punch capacity of up to 25 sheets. Punch up to 13" at a time; with it's open throat and continuous punch guide, you can align and punch documents up to 26" in length. Foot pedal operation keeps your hands free, giving you complete control of punching and inserting. 5 disengagable dies allow for clean punches of most standard paper sizes without partial holes on the edges. This machine has cast-hardened heat-treated steel dies to provide clean perforation when punching. Margin controls for the side and depth assure you get documents that are centered and pages turn smoothly without tearing.

The CoilMac ECP machines include mounts, allowing you to mount a coil inserter to the top (choose from the Finish@Coil M or the Finish@Coil E1) - this allows two machines to share one small footprint. By adding one of these finishers, you create a complete binding station with high volume electric punching and binding capabilities to quickly create professional coil bound books.
