The First Alert 2096DF Waterproof Fire Safe is UL classified to withstand 1 hour of external temperature of 1700 degrees with the internal temperature of less than 350 degrees. The First Alert 2096DF has a programmable digital lock with an emergency override key should you forget the lock password or if the batteries go dead. A removable pull-out hanging file folder rack is available and an adjustable shelf with versatile positions. It can store and protect fit memory sticks, CD's, DVD's, documents, electronics and external hard drives. Safe includes a handy hauler that allows the safe to be easily rolled into position in any location.

The First Alert 2096DF Waterproof has a digital lock and 6 locking door bolts with pry resistant concealed hinges. The digital lock requires four double AA batteries.

Areas of high humidity should be avoided and the safe should be opened and aired out for at least 20 minutes once every two weeks. The First Alert 2096DF is not recommended to store firearms or combustible content.
