Protect valuables during a fire up to 1700ºF for one hour with its 4 locking door bolts and pry resistant concealed hinges. Ideal applications would be in any environment where water is of concern, such as a boat, RV or ocean front property. With the added U.L. Listed 1-hour Fire rating you can be assured that paper documents will be protected. The 2087 model uses a unique method of fire protection; instead of creating a "steam moisture cloud" inside of the safe to maintain a temperature below 300ºF, this safe slowly burns off the outside protective fire material. This safe will accommodate binders (including European A4) in an upright position. The additional shelf and hanging key/accessory rack makes storing keys easier, and the storage pouch on the inside of the door offers additional convenience.
