The waterproof seal, combination lock and key ensure this safe will keep possessions secure and dry. Protect valuables during a fire up to 1700ºF for one hour with its 4 locking door bolts and pry resistant concealed hinges. Ideal applications would be in any environment where water is of concern, such as a boat, RV or ocean front property. With the added U.L. Listed 1-hour Fire rating you can be assured that paper documents will be protected. The 2092 model uses a unique method of fire protection; instead of creating a "steam moisture cloud" inside of the safe to maintain a temperature below 300ºF, this safe slowly burns off the outside protective fire material. This safe will accomodate binders(including European A4)in an upright position. The additional shelf and hanging key/accessory rack makes storing keys easier, and the storage pouch on the inside of the door offers additional convenience.
