The Honeywell 2096D Waterproof Fire Safe helps protect your documents and valuables with its' 2.14 cubic feet, 4 locking door bolts, pry resistant concealed hinges, pull out file rack and backlit programmable digital keypad with protective cover. The Handy-Hauler™ keeps you mobile, while the waterproof seal keeps your items dry. Ideal applications would be in any environment where water is of concern, such as a boat, RV or ocean front property. It also protects valuables during a fire up to 1700ºF for one hour. The 2096D model uses a unique method of fire protection; instead of creating a "steam moisture cloud" inside of the safe to maintain a temperature below 300ºF, this safe slowly burns off the outer protective fire material. This safe will accommodate binders (including European A4) in an upright position. The additional shelf and hanging key/accessory rack makes storing keys easier, and the storage pouch on the inside of the door offers additional convenience.
