The Mesa MSC1916E High Security Burglary and Fire Safe offers a unique design that combines all the security features of a burglary safe and the peace of mind achieved with a fire safe. The MSC1916E is rated to protect from temperatures up to 1830ºF for up to 2 hours. It uses a battery operated electronic lock protected by an internal spring loaded relocking device. The door of the safe is 4-7/8" thick, enclosing fire resistant material, and the body is 2-5/8" thick, including the fire resistant material. Security features include two 1" diameter live locking bolts, a 1" diameter solid steel dead bolt, heavy duty hinges that also provide smooth door operation, and a keypad lockout penalty if combinations are entered incorrectly. Extra features include a decorative tri-spoke handle, easily changeable personal code, a high strength interior shelf that can be adjusted or removed, and one anchoring hole to secure the safe to the floor.
