No Good

The friction feeding is not reliable. You need to expect at least 10% loss due to the mis-fed or jamming. I would not recommend this model.

This machine always pulled multiple pages through at once. Jammed quite often and is very loud. You should use it in a closed room and only 20 pound paper. This machine deserves less than one star.

Central Washington University very unsatisfied

We purchased this machine to help speed up our commencement process. It is anything but helpful and in turn was slower than folding by hand. You have to put the paper "feathered" into the feeder tray which is unreasonable when you are trying to fold 1,000 pieces of paper. The main reason we purchased it was because it folded multiple pieces of paper but it fails to tell you that you have to feed each stapled paper one by one, by hand. Also, after it has folded the stapled paper, which was usually crooked, it does not fall into the trays but rather shoots straight up in the air and if not caught will fall back into the machine causing a jam. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Still good after 5 years of use, mailing once per month

More paper jams after 5 years. But the following suggestion from Martin Yale works very well for my machine: Most of the time, folding machines jam because the fold rollers are dirty. Ink, paper dust and environmental contaminates accumulate on the fold rollers causing the paper to slip on the rollers. This can be remedied by cleaning the fold rollers with a Scotch BriteĀ® pad sprayed with rubber roller cleaner (Model 200). Hot water and dishwashing soap can be substituted if rubber roller cleaner is not available. Wipe the rollers with a cotton cloth when finished scrubbing. Avoid using paper towel as it will recontaminate the rollers.
