It also allows limited access to the safe, as the safe is designed to be installed with the drop slot chute going through a wall; the safe can remain in a locked room, but allow anyone access to leave deposits.

The Protex FDD-3020-BD Dual Compartment Depository Safe is constructed of solid steel, with a fully welded body. Heavy-duty vault hinges, an internal dead-bar, and 1/2" thick anti-pry solid steel plate doors make this safe very secure. The drop chute is extended, allowing the slot to be accessed on one side of a wall, while keeping the safe and its contents restricted on the other side. The lower compartment of the safe receives the deposited contents via a rear loading drop door; the upper compartment is separate and can be used as a regular safe.,br>
The electronic lock provides quick access to the safe and is easy to program. A wrong-try penalty lockout mode prevents trial-and-error access to the safe's contents. Other security features include an anti-fishing baffle, spring-loaded relocking doors, anti-drill lock plate, and heavy duty steel locking bolts. Install the safe through a standard wall (between 16" on center studs), use the removable steel frame to cover the drywall cutout, and mount with the included anchoring hardware onto a concrete floor for ultimate security and protection.
