Having experience with commercial paper cutters in the past, I can vouch for this one being very good at its job. The most important aspect is setting up the cut properly in the first place. Failure to do so makes cutting more difficult and you get poor results. I had a couple of users complain that it didn't do a good job, but putting them to the test clearly showed they didn't know what they were doing contrary to their own opinions. The only real thing worth noting is when cranking it down to firmly hold the paper in place it requires a little bit of muscle that a weaker person might fail to be able to produce. Otherwise, this is a great little machine.
