The electronic lock is designed with operational lights, which come on when the safe is open, the battery is low, or an incorrect entry is made. After 3 incorrect attempts are completed, the lock automatically enters a time-out period. A drill-resistant, hardened-steel plate is located directly behind the lock for greater protection against attacks. The batteries are accessible from the front and easy to replace. A trouble key is included for emergency access.

The SS-16-MB-E's interior is fully carpeted to protect your rifles from scratches and dings, while the removable, carpeted shelf provides additional storage space for ammunition, cleaning supplies, and other valuables.
