Stack On created the GSX-524 with a host of security features: 5 live-action locking bolts on the side of the door and 3 steel deadbolts on the hinge side of the door, for a total of 8 locking bolts. The pry-resistant door is constructed of solid steel to provide greater security.

The interior is fully carpeted to protect your firearms against dings and scratches and the 4 adjustable shelves give you boundless storage options for guns, rifles, shotguns, cleaning accessories, ammunition, and other types of valuables. The pre-drilled mounting holes and included fastening hardware allow you to easily affix it to a floor.

Stack On included their patented barrel rests and standoffs, which keep your scoped rifles away from the back of the safe and allow for one position storage. The standoffs can be attached to any Stack-On barrel rests, which are contoured to accommodate rifles and side-by-side shotguns.

The fire protection features include a door stripping that expands when exposed to high temperatures, which seals the door to protect the safe’s contents. The reinforced steel doors are filled with a fire-retardant material that creates a protective firewall. It is ETL Verified Mark to withstand temperatures up to 1400ºF for up to 30 minutes, while maintaining an internal temperature of no more than 350ºF.

The exterior dimensions are 26-3/4” (W) x 23” (D) x 59” (H), it weighs approximately 492 lbs., and it is approved the California Department of Justice (DOJ) for firearm safety.
