The STACK-ON GSX-536-BR Fire Resistant Elite Gun Safe is ETL fire rated to withstand up to 1400ºF for 30 minutes and maintain an internal temperature of no more than 350ºF thanks to a proprietary mixture of cement and vermiculite. This safe, with carpeted interior, holds up to 36 rifles/shotguns or install the 6 carpeted, adjustable shelves to convert your safe into an 18 gun safe with customized storage space. Neatly store your rifles and shotguns using the included Stack-On patented gun barrel rests and patented standoffs for scoped rifles. Your guns are protected by the solid steel body and reinforced pry resistant door that employs 7 live action locking bolts and 3 steel dead bolts totaling 10 durable locking points. The door has a 3-spoked, rubber gripped handle and is opened using a 3 number combination lock with a drill resistant, hardened steel plate behind the lock to provide greater security. Pre-drilled mounting holes in the body of the safe allow you to easily secure your safe using the included fastening hardware. The exterior of the safe has a brown hammertone epoxy paint finish with gold accents and a silk screen on the door. This unit provides excellent fire protection and helps keep potentially dangerous items, such as guns and ammo, away from children and teenagers at home or in the office.
