The Stack On GSX-816 is a full-sized, fire-resistant ETL fire-rated gun safe that can accommodate up to 16 rifles or shotguns. The exterior has a brown-hammertone epoxy paint finish with elegant gold accents and silkscreen on the door, for a stylish addition to any room.

Technical Summary:

The GSX-816 by Stack-On carries the ETL Verified Mark to withstand temperatures up to 1400ºF for up to 30 minutes, while maintaining the interior temperature at or below 350ºF. The door stripping will expand when it’s exposed to high temperatures, thereby sealing the contents and protecting them during a fire. The pry-resistant, solid steel door is reinforced and filled with a fire-retardant material to create a protective firewall.

There are a total of 8 locking points: 5 live-action locking bolts and 3 steel deadbolts. The electronic lock is designed with an operational light, which alerts you to an open door, low battery, and incorrect entry attempts. After 3 incorrect codes, the safe automatically enter a time-out period. A drill-resistant, hardened steel plate is located behind the lock to protect against drill attacks.

The GSX-816 includes Stack-On’s patented gun barrel rests and standoffs to keep your scoped rifles away from the back of the safe; the standoff can be attached to, or removed from any Stack-On rest to suit your needs. The interior includes pre-installed, fully carpeted interiors to protect against dings and scratches. Fastening hardware is included to use with the pre-drilled mounting holes to affix the safe to a floor. The batteries are easily accessible from the front of the safe and are easy to replace.

The outer dimensions are 23-3/8” (W) x 20-3/4” (D) x 59” (H), it weighs approximately 386 lbs., it is approved by the California Department of Justice (DOJ), and is ETL Verified up to 1400ºF. A trouble key is included for emergency access.
