The STACK-ON GSX-860 Fire Resistant Elite Gun Safe is ETL fire rated to withstand up to 1400ºF for 30 minutes and maintain an internal temperature of no more than 350ºF thanks to a proprietary mixture of cement and vermiculite. This safe, with carpeted interior, holds up to 60 rifles or shotguns or install some of the 8 carpeted, adjustable shelves to convert your safe into either a 40 gun or 20 gun safe with customized storage space or use the entire safe as shelved storage. Neatly store your rifles and shotguns using the included Stack-On patented gun barrel rests and patented standoffs for scoped rifles. Your guns are protected by the solid steel body and reinforced pry resistant door that employs 7 live action locking bolts and 3 steel dead bolts totaling 10 durable locking points. The door has a 3-spoked, rubber gripped handle and is opened using an electronic lock that features operational lights for open, low battery warning and incorrect entry. There is an automatic safety “time out" period after 3 incorrect attempts to access the safe. Batteries are accessible from the front of the safe and are easy to replace. An emergency override key is also included. Pre-drilled mounting holes in the body of the safe allow you to easily secure your safe using the included fastening hardware. The exterior of the safe has a brown hammertone epoxy paint finish with gold accents and a large elk silk screen image on the door to provide style and elegance. This unit provides excellent fire protection and helps keep potentially dangerous items, such as guns and ammo, away from children and teenagers at home or in the office. Not recommended for storing CDs or other electronic storage devices.
