The Stack-On TD-28-SB-E Waterproof, Fireproof Total Defense Gun Safe’s security features include: 8 locking points-1” steel, tapered live-action locking bolts (5 large, live-action steel locking bolts and 3 deadbolts on the hinge side of the door), a pry-resistant solid steel door, an extra-thick door frame, an electronic lock with operational lights to indicate an open door, low battery, and incorrect entry. After 3 incorrect entry attempts the safe will enter an automatic time-out period. A drill-resistant, hardened steel plate lies behind the safe to protect against drill attacks. A trouble key is included for emergency access.

The interior is fully carpeted to protect your firearms against scratches and dings, and the 6 adjustable shelves allow you to organize your safe exactly to meet your storage needs. Stack On has included their patented gun barrel rest standoffs, which keep your scoped rifles away from the back of the safe and keep them in a one-position storage. They can be attached/removed from any Stack-On barrel rest; the barrel rests are contoured to accommodate rifles and side-by-side shotguns.

This safe has an ETL Verified Mark to withstand external temperatures up to 1400ºF for 30 minutes, while keeping the internal temperature at or below 350ºF. The steel doors are reinforced with a fire-retardant material to create a firewall. The door stripping expands when it is exposed to high temperatures, which seals the safe and protects the contents during a fire. It is also ETL tested to ensure it is water resistant in up to 2 feet of standing water for 72 hours. It is constructed with a synthetic rubber gasket on the body of the door, with other sealants to create a waterproof seal. (Ensure your safe is bolted to the floor to be in compliance with the waterproof feature.) The TD-28-SB-E is approved by the California Department of Justice (DOJ) for firearm safety.
