The Stack-On P-40-HGB-E is a UL Listed, Fire-Resistant and waterproof fully convertible safe with an electronic lock. It can accommodate 40 rifles or shotguns, 20 guns plus storage, or just shelves for storage only. This safe is ETL tested for fire, rated for 30 minutes up to 1400ºF, and for water resistance for up to 72 hours in 2 feet of standing water. The exterior is finished with a jet black, wet paint, reflective finish with elegant chrome accents, and silkscreen on the door for an attractive, robust appearance.

Patented barrel rests and standoffs are included to store scoped rifles and can accommodate different gun lengths and they don't take up extra space. The safe is UL rated type 1 electronic lock and there are operational lights to notify of, open, incorrect entry, and low battery warning. If the password is typed in incorrectly after 3 attempts, then the safe goes into a time out period. Batteries can be accessed from the front of the safe and easy to replace. The Stack-On P-40-HGB-E has a 4 way locking with 7 live action locking bolts and 3 steel dead bolts providing 10 locking points. The 5-spindle handle retract and extend the bolts. The safe also has a unique locking feature that has been included to keep the door secured, even if the lock is fully removed in a break-in.

The door is made up of solid steel and is extra thick reinforced pry resistant door providing powerful security.
