Technical Summary:

The P-019-MB-E is ETL fire rated to manufacturer's specifications for fire protection for 60 minutes up to 1400ºF. It is also rated to be waterproof in up to 6 inches of standing water for up to 72 hours. This drill resistant safe is opened using the UL rated Type 1 electronic lock which includes operational lights for open, low battery warning and incorrect entry. An automatic "time out" period engages after 3 incorrect attempts to open the safe. An emergency access override key is included. The lock batteries are accessible from the front of the safe and are easy to replace. A fully carpeted interior protects your items from scratches and the adjustable, carpeted shelf allows you to customize the interior of your safe. The hinges are concealed, and 4 live action locking bolts extend and retract with rotation of the steel handle. Pre-drilled mounting holes in the floor of the safe and included fastening hardware allow you to easily secure your safe. Mounting is required to insure the waterproof rating.
