The Sentry 1856CS+ Fire & Impact Resistant Data & Media File Safe (Formerly the Schwab 1856CS+) features 8 storage shelves and a good deal of interior storage space to easily and conveniently store magnetic and digital media. It is designed and built for storing large quantities of floppy disks, cartridges, tapes, film, microfiche, CDs, DVDs, zip disks, and more. The 1856CS+ utilizes Insulite insulation that allows it to have thinner walls and a lighter weight without compromising any sort of fire protection. It is rated for one hour of fire protection in temperatures up to 1700ºF, 30 foot drop impact resistance, and 2000ºF explosion hazard resistance making it ideal for protecting the integrity of magnetic and digital media. Available in two different standard colors: gray and off-white. Default color is gray.
