Technical Summary:

The SEM Mag EraSURE ME-P3 is an ideal device for fast and secure degaussing of hard drives, back-up tapes and other magnetic media containing confidential or highly sensitive information. The ME-P3 is operated automaticaly via a single push button and has a cycle time of 15 seconds; actual degauss time is less than one second as the drive passes through the magnetic field. The SEM ME-P3 is desgined to degauss 6,000 oe Standard (LMR) and Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded (PMR) Hard Drives and/or Magnetic tapes at 2,800 Oe quickly and easily. At 6 times faster than NSA approved “pulse type” degaussers the ME-P3 virtually pays for itself in increased productivity and reduced manpower requirements.
