A double impulse heat sealer is meant for applications that need double-sided heavy-duty vertical sealing. This includes sealing packages of powders, liquids, and other materials that are heavy and difficult to lift. Double impulse sealers are excellent for plastic lined and aluminum or gusset bags. This type of heat sealer creates a wide seal by simultaneously fusing the film from both sides and uses twin heating element wires (one on the top and one on the bottom) on the sealing jaw.
