The Tennsco 36" 5-Drawer Combination Lateral File features welded all steel construction and ball bearing suspension for quiet effortless operation. The top drawer has a spring-assisted retractable locking door, while the bottom four are standard fixed-front drawers; all drawers/doors are controlled by a single lock. An inner lock system prevents opening more than one drawer at a time to reduce the danger of tipping. Leveling glides stabilize unit and compensate for uneven floors. Hanging folder rods allow either letter or legal sizes folders; optional cross rods allow for front-to-back filing, and make it possible to file multiple folder sizes within a drawer. Optional shelf dividers can be used when end-tab, non-hanging folders are being filed. Tennsco Lateral Files are painted with a durable enamel finish in your choice of Black or Putty, to coordinate with other office furniture.
