The V-Line 2597-S Desk Mate Security Box is user-friendly and versatile: no keys to lose, or batteries to change, and the front-opening case drops down for easy access. It can be installed under, or on the side of most surfaces and has a host of security features to protect your possessions.

Technical Summary:

The V-Line 2597-S has several security features: a 5-button mechanical lock with 1081 possible combinations, the door is recessed for additional pry resistance, the interior anti-pry brackets give the safe additional strength and security, and the continuous hinge is welded on one end to prevent pin removal. The bottom and the back of the safe are felt lined to protect your valuables from scratches.

The DeskMate 2597-S features one Quick Release Mounting Bracket (MBDM), which allows you to easily install this safe under most surfaces; it can also be installed sideways with the top bolted to the side of a surface and the door on top. You can purchase additional MBDMs if you want the case to be used in more than one location, or a Universal Mounting Bracket (UBDM) to install the case on top of most surfaces.

This safe is available in a textured semi-gloss black-powder coated finish and is accented with gold-tone pinstripes with a logo design. Its inner dimensions are 6.5"(H) x 8.25"(W) x 1.75"(D), its outer dimensions are 7.5"(H) x 10.5"(W) x 2.5"(D), and it weighs 8 lbs. It is approved by the California Department of Justice (DOJ).
