Fellowes Unveils New Line of Document Shredding Solutions

Fellowes, Inc., a worldwide leader in mobile, computer and consumer electronics accessories, unveiled new document shredding solutions designed to maintain privacy in home office and/or small office environments.

Identity theft is one of America's fastest growing crimes. According to a recent Federal Trade Commission report, nearly 10 million people in the last year alone have been victims of identity theft, costing them $5 billion in out-of-pocket expenses and costing businesses a total of nearly $50 billion.

Fellowes has seen a more than 25 percent increase in shredder sales in the past year as more consumers are becoming aware of the growing threat of ID theft. "News about the increase in identity theft is pervading conversations as never before, and more and more consumers are going out and buying shredders to protect themselves," said John Fellowes, product manager, Business Machines, Fellowes, Inc. "It's our goal to offer new, updated, innovative solutions, while keeping the machines as user friendly and reliable as possible," Fellowes said.
