Auto Setup, Auto-Feed Friction Folders

…For frequent use and fast, efficient folding.

Auto setup friction folders are a step or two up from manual feed/auto feed medium duty paper folders. You will notice a price jump, but it is certainly worth the extra investment. Not only will these folders handle a greater volume of paper, they will often include a wider variety of paper folds, work quickly and more efficiently and with fewer problems.

These heavy duty paper folders are sturdier and less likely to jam. They can come with a variety of helpful features. The Big Plus

The big plus is the ability to select a preprogrammed fold. No more manual messing with fold plates. These folders will be auto-feed, as well, which means friction rollers that automatically pull the paper in from the feed tray and fold it.

Another advantage is the fine-tuning and self-adjustment features you will often get with these folders. It’s nice to be able to load the paper in the “drop in” feed system and be confident it will automatically adjust to paper weight and size.

Batch counting, cross folding (right angle folds), and jam detectors are sometimes included.

Standard, Intimus, Martin Yale, MBM and Duplo make quality auto-setup medium to heavy duty paper folders.

But Wait! There’s More…

Some folders in the heavier duty category may also have options for slitting, scoring and/or perforating. This can be handy if you have those kind of paper handling jobs.

Before you buy a paper folder, consider your paper folding needs and then do some research.

You will always find the lowest prices on paper folders at Factory Express.
