NEW 6600 Series Folder Inserters
Formax introduces the NEW 6600 Series Inserters. This "big brother" to the 6400 Series offers identical input features, along with a larger monthly capacity and enhanced output systems to adapt to your changing business needs. The 6600 Series features a large, top-loading envelope hopper which can hold up to 500 envelopes, ideal for continuous operation, in addition to a large power stacker, which can accommodate up to 500 filled envelopes. The 6600 Series also has an increased duty cycle of up to 80,000 pieces per month.
As with all Formax tabletop inserters, the 6600 Series includes the unique AutoSetTM feature, which allows for one-touch setup of new jobs by automatically sensing and adjusting for paper lengths, envelope sizes and fold lengths. Recurring and frequent jobs run in AutoSet can also be stored as a programmed job setting for hassle-free setup and operation.
The 6600 Series offers two, four, and six station models which adapt to most any folding and inserting applications. The 6600-Standard models have all automatic feeders. The 6600-Special models offer one special feeder, with all other feeders automatic. Special feeders are designed to handle a variety of inserts, including pre-folded documents and pieces up to 2mm thick. For maximum flexibility, the 6600-Custom models allow for any combination of special or automatic feeders. All models feature a cascade mode for continuous document feeding to maximize operator efficiency and increase output. The 6600 Series is also available in "B" models, for inserting bottom address documents into top flap envelopes.
Options include a Production Feeder to feed up to 325 BREs or 1,200 sheets of 20# paper; and three different levels of Optical Mark Recognition for accurately collating and feeding multiple-page documents.
