Swingline's New Family of Punches Brings Breakthrough Design, Performance and Comfort to the Punches Category
Swingline is taking paper punching to a whole new level as it introduces a family of new punches designed to make punching easier, efficient and economical, with breakthrough designs intended to complement workspace environments.
The LightTouch™ Desktop Punch, LightTouch™ High Capacity Desktop Punch and the Precision Pro™ Punch, coming to market August 2003, offer aesthetic appeal never before seen in the punching category. Rounded contours and metallic color combinations give the punches an aesthetic edge, while engineering technology enables each punch to reliably make precise punches. All of the punches require less pressure to operate, with the LightTouch models making punching 50 percent easier than any comparable punches on the market. In addition, the Precision Pro breaks new ground by offering crisp, clean cutting action that enables superior punching, via patented die-cast pins.
The new punches will be available through office product superstores and office product dealers.

The new LightTouch and Precision Pro punches build on the momentum of Swingline's LightTouch Heavy Duty Punch. Introduced in 2001, the LightTouch Heavy Duty Punch raised the bar on the punching category as a high capacity punch that makes heavy duty punching easier and faster to execute. The LightTouch Heavy Duty Punch also affords 50 percent less effort to use, so only light pressure need be applied to the padded handle for instant, accurate results for up to 32 sheets.
Lever handles that require less pressure to operate are the key attractions of Swingline's LightTouch Desktop Punch and LightTouch High Capacity Desktop Punch. In addition, both models provide added value by featuring a durable, all metal construction and easy-feed punching area adjustable for two- or three-hole punching needs. The punches also have built-in paper centering guides to ensure accurate punching every time, and keep things tidy with an easy slide-out chip holder that prevents spills when emptying. To keep papers secure, the High Capacity model has a handy lock-down feature, ideal when space is limited and storage necessary.
