Introducing GBC 8300 Matte Polypropylene Scuff-Free Film
GBC, a market leader in the manufacturing and distribution of laminating and binding products, introduces GBC Scuff-Free Film, a unique combination of polypropylene and an abrasion-resistant coating that protects and enhances the look of books, packages and other printed materials.
Scuff-Free Film provides a durable, scratch-resistant surface that is three times more durable than untreated polypropylene. It was designed to resist scuffing during production, shipping, and handling, thereby reducing product returns due to damage.With a matte finish to minimize glare and preserve image color, Scuff-Free Film gives books and packaging a luxurious appearance to attract the buyers’ attention and increase the perceived value of the product.
Scuff-Free Film was specially engineered to accept UV spot coating to allow for greater creativity in the design of the finished product. It also accepts both animal- and synthetic-based glues to make it suitable for the packaging industry.
GBC recommends running Scuff-Free Film on high-speed laminators including the GBC Delta, GBC Voyager3 and GBC Cyclone for volume production of dust jackets, displays and packages.
