Introducing the NEW Innovative Fellowes DS-1 Paper Shredder. This shredder is equipped with patented Safe Sense technology that stops the shredder immediately when the paper entry is touched. Small fingers or hands avoid injury, as this technology helps to make this paper shredder child safe. The DS-1 is an affordable shredding option, and for extra security, this shredder has the ability to reduce documents to 5/32" x 1-3/8" confetti particles. A light duty shredder, the Fellowes DS-1 can handle up to 11 sheets of paper per pass, 10-20 times per day, for a daily capacity as high as 220 sheets. This shredder is also equipped with a 9" paper entry, easily accepting standard letter or legal sized documents. The durable steel cutters also accept credit cards, staples and small paper clips. The DS-1 has an auto start/stop feature to ensure quick and easy shredder operation. It includes a 4.75 gallon mesh waste basket an added feature to increase usability. Just step down on the foot pedal in front and lift out to remove it. A magenetic safety interlock will shut the shredder off when the wastebasket has been removed.
