Technical Summary:

The Formax FD 2200-10 was designed as the solution for high-volume mailers who already have a floor model folding system, and want to add pressure sealing services for their customers. It includes a mounting bracket to securely attached it to the folder. The FD 2200-10 can accommodate a paper size of up to 11-1/2" wide. It features an infrared sensor in the infeed of the machine which detects any faults, which sends a signal to stop the upstream folder its connected with. Other features include: built in static eliminator, a clutching roller system to reduce wear on the motor when double feeds are detected, safety cover interlock which shuts down the system when the cover is open, a 10" ball-deck providing smooth transport of the form from the folder rollers into the sealer, plexi-cover allowing the operator to watch the forms pass through the sealer, and heavy duty casters for easy mobility.
