This shredder features a photoelectric cell for automatic start/stop, an on/off switch with integrated reverse control, and a stand-by mode with LED indicator. An inspection window on the 8.7 gallon waste bin allows the operator to view waste level, and the 105.3 stops automatically when the shred bin is full or has been removed. The gear box is totally enclosed, preventing dust and debris from getting into the gears, as well as reducing noise.
