Technical Summary:
The HSM 225.2cc Level 4 Cross Cut Paper Shredder can shred 17 to 19 sheets per pass into 1/16" x 9/16" pieces, as well as credit cards, paper clips, and staples. Jam-Stop Auto Reverse Anti-Jam Technology is included to quickly and easily reverse paper out when the shredder is overfed. A continuous duty motor with an enclosed gear box allows for constant shredding without worry of overheating or build up of dust and debris. The 225.2cc has a photoelectric cell for automatic start/stop, an on/off switch with integrated reversing function, and automatic stop when the 27.7 gallon waste bin is full or the cabinet door is opened. HSM warranties the cutting cylinders for the life of the shredder; the cutting cylinders are heat treated solid steel and laser cut with patented V-TEK cutting grooves; this means increased cutting capacity with decreased power requirements.
