A 38.5 gallon waste bin is housed in a mobile cabinet on casters. The continuous duty motor is chain driven, allowing for extended shredding sessions without overheating or worry of damage to gears. The cutting cylinders are warrantied for the life of the shredder, and are made of heat treated solid steel. They feature HSM’s patented laser cut V-TEK cutting groove technology, which creates higher cutting capacity with lower power requirements. Other features of the 411.2 L4 include a power saving stand-by mode, a photoelectric cell for automatic start/stop, on/off switch with integrated reverse function, and sensors which automatically stop the shredder when the cabinet door is opened or the waste bag if full.
