The B34s provides up to a 90% reduction in energy used, thanks to the Energy Management and Control System (EMCS). This unique feature comprises of several energy saving modes: after 2 minutes of non-use, the automatic shutdown function activates sleep mode; after remaining idle for an hour, the automatic switch-off function powers the unit down completely; engage permanent mode by holding the control key for 4 seconds, and the B34s will run continually for large shred jobs.
