It includes an integrated auto-oiler, maintaining itself to keep the shredding quality consistent and lengthening the shredder's life. The HSM Securio P36L6 has a multi-functional control key, which indicates 8 different functions to keep the user aware of the machine's operational status. WhisperShred technology creates a quiet environment; Securio shredders are engineered to run at a low decibel level, creating less of a distraction.

Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) is a unique feature of HSM shredders that comprises of several energy saving modes that add up to as much as a 90% savings in energy. The automatic switch-off function powers the unit down completely when not used for an hour. The automatic shutdown function activates sleep mode 2 minutes from the last shred use. A permanent mode can be activated so the shredder continuously runs for large jobs.
