Technical Summary:

The HSM Securio P36c L4 can shred up to 18 sheets of paper per pass, as well as credit cards, paper clips, and staples, into 1/16" x 9/16" pieces. It features the Energy Management and Control System (EMCS), a unique set of several energy saving modes that add up to as much as a 90% savings in energy. The automatic switch-off function powers the unit down completely when not used for an hour. The automatic shutdown function activates sleep mode 2 minutes from the last shred use. Hold the control key for 4 seconds to engage permanent mode, which continuously runs for large shred jobs.

Heat-treated laser cut solid steel cutting cylinders feature patented V-TEK cutting groove technology for higher cutting capacity with lower power requirements. HSM offers a lifetime warranty on these cutting cylinders. A continuous duty motor with an enclosed gear box allows the shredder to run continually, without requiring cool-down intervals, and dust and debris cannot get into the gears, protecting the shredder and preventing failure. The large 38.3 gallon waste bin can be accessed through the wide door at the front of the shredder to change out waste bags.
