The HSM Securio P40L6 Level 6 High Security Paper Shredder can shred 9 sheets per pass into 1/32" x 3/16" pieces; this meets the requirements of DOD and NSA/CSS 02-01 security for sensitive document destruction, as well as high security EPL Listing. It includes an automatic oiler which maintains the shredder, extending its life and ensuring consistent shred size and quality. The P40L6 is designed with the Energy Management and Control System (EMCS), a unique feature that comprises of several energy saving modes that add up to as much as a 90% savings in energy. Hold the control key for 4 seconds to engage permanent mode, which continuously runs for large shred jobs. The automatic switch-off function powers the unit down completely when not used for an hour. The automatic shutdown function activates sleep mode 2 minutes from the last shred use.

A multi-function control key features 8 function displays, providing a visual status update. The Securio P40L6 features a continuous duty motor with an enclosed gear box - dust and debris do not get into the gears, and the shredder can continually shred without requiring resting time. Laser cut heat-treated solid steel cutting cylinders feature V-TEK cutting groove technology, which creates higher cutting capacity with lower power requirements. Made in Germany with precision engineering, the shredder is designed with WhisperShred technology to reduce decibel levels while the machine is running, either idle or shredding.
