The Destroyit 2403 Cross Cut Paper Shredder comes with the SPS™ (Safety Protection System) which is an electronically controlled, transparent safety shield in the feed opening. It uses color codes and back-lit symbols to indicate the operational status. The Destroyit 2403 cross cut shredder features an automatic reverse and power cut-off in the event of a paper jam. The power cut-off also takes effect when the shred bag is full or cabinet door is open. This Destroyit paper shredder model also features an automatic start and stop controlled by a photo cell. It makes use of high quality, hardened steel cutting shafts that can take staples, paper clips, and credit cards.
