The SEM 244-4 High Security Paper Shredder offers rugged performance in a quiet system great for small or mid size department use. The Model 244/4 features SPS (Saftey Protection System), ECC (Electronic Capacity Control)and ESM (Energy Saving Mode). This shredder combines the latest electromechanical technology to destroy U.S. Government classified records and data and features an Automatic Oiler to prolong the life of the shredder and maintain efficiency!
Technical Summary:
The SEM 244-4 NSA High Security Paper Shredder shreds up to 13 sheets of paper into 1/32" x 3/16" particles. The SEM 244/4 features a 10.25" feed width, automatic start/stop, automatic reverse, bag full and door open indicator, and an integrated auto oiling system. In addition, this shredder features SPS (Saftey Protection System) which is an electonically controlled safety flap in the feed throat to help prevent industrial accidents, ECC (Electronic Capacity Control) to help prevent paper jams by indicating sheet capacity during the shredding process, and ESM (Energy Saving mode) to help reduce power consumption. The 244-4 comes with a free starter kit that includes (2) gallons of SEM shredder oil and (1) case of 50 count shredder bags.
