The SEM 5140C/4 High Security Paper Shredder (formerly the 5140C/3) is designed for heavy duty use and is loaded with all of the latest in shredder technology. The 5140C/4 features SPS (Safety Protection System), ECC (Electronic Capacity Control), ESM (Energy Saving Mode)and and an Automatic Oiler to prolong the life of the shredder and maintain efficiency.
Technical Summary:
The SEM 5140C/4 High Security Paper Shredder shreds up to 18 sheets into 1/32" x 3/16" particles. The SEM 5140C/4 features a large 16" feed width, automatic start/stop, automatic reverse, bag full and door open indicator, a 60 gallon waste bin, and an integrated auto oiling system. In addition, this shredder features SPS (Safety Protection System) which is an electronically controlled safety flap in the feed throat to help prevent accidents, ECC (Electronic Capacity Control) to help prevent paper jams by indicating sheet capacity during the shredding process, and ESM (Energy Saving mode) to help reduce power consumption.
