It automatically shreds 100 sheets in its hopper or 6 sheets per pass when fed manually, and can also shred paper clips and staples, with a separate cutter for credit cards. The 7 gallon waste bin includes a viewing window to provide an instant visual indication of the waste bin level. Fingers are protected with an auto shutdown feature that senses when the paper entry is touched. The 100X has a max run time of 15 minutes with a 10 minute cool down period.
